Kilmartin Museum

In 2017 I was delighted to be part of the project team preparing a major funding bid for a new museum celebrating Kilmartin’s unique and ancient history. Plans are afoot to replace the current museum, which for all its charm is well-deserving of being brought up-to-date. My role was Natural History Interpretation Advisor working in collaboration with Ross Preston of Rowan Ecology who has a wealth of knowledge about Argyll’s landscapes and wildlife, past and present. It was great to get to know this part of Scotland; its natural history as well as the lives of its ancient peoples. The bid was successful and I look forward to watching the progress of the project as it moves forward.  http://www.kilmartin.org/
